SPARK

In close cooperation, SPARK and the Hamburg festival “49 Stunden Stimme X” offer two open workshops for instrumentalists. The workshops are led by two teams, each with a focus on the other city. The instrumentalists from the respective regions will be confronted with their performing ideas and skills.

The parallel mediation of performing and musical parameters is a theme that is indispensable in the genre of contemporary new music. Musician or performer? What am I and what have I learned during my training? Is that enough to put on a good performance with my instrument? Can I do it better? How?

Our workshop is about promoting the co-creative potentials of the instrumentalists. The participants will present their own interdisciplinary mini-music theatre pieces within the framework of the festival and under the direction of Vendula Nováková and Daniel Moreira.

The workshop and the workshop presentation take place in context of HK-X, supported by the Performing Arts Fund with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media in the context of NEUSTART KULTUR.
