The Cologne festival “SPARK” and the Hamburg festival “49 Stunden Stimme X” offer two open workshops for instrumentalists. The workshops will be led by two teams, each with a focus on the other city.
In addition to the equal and simultaneous, i. e. temporally parallel, teaching of the performing and musical parameters, the aim here is to promote the co-creative potential of instrumentalists in the field of contemporary music theatre.

The participants will develop interdisciplinary pieces / works in progress under the direction of the respective workshop teams and present them within the framework of the respective festival.

and the composer/instrumentalist Kai Niggemann
