Sophia Spies studied Fashion at the Pforzheim University (School of Design). In her final project “O Maria”, for which she received the La Biosthétique Prix de Concept in 2016, she focused on staging, styling and photography.

Since 2017, Spies has lived and worked in Cologne as freelance costume designer, style consultant for musicians as well as freelance illustrator. Beside these activities she performs her own music under the name “Faira”.
