SPARK

Friederike Scheunchen is a freelance conductor. She is passionate about new and contemporary music, vocal music and intermedia music-theatrical projects. Together with Lucia Kilger and Clemens K. Thomas, she leads the ensemble s c o p e.

In addition, she conducts and rehearses for the Donaueschinger Musiktage 2021, the opera TitaniaTraum by Gerald Resch as part of the conducting academy of the Taschenoperfestival Salzburg and she teaches in Mainz and Freiburg.

Scheunchen is a scholarship holder of the Forum Dirigieren of the German Music Council and the Akademie Musiktheater heute 2021-23.
