The baritone Matthias Horn loves versatility and variety. Works of the contemporary avant-garde, the renowned oratorio repertoire, song recitals or historically informed music-making of early music are of equal importance to him. As a regular guest at the most important opera houses and music festivals, he has participated in world premieres by Peter Eötvos, Wolfgang Rihm or Carola Bauckholt, and he maintains a close collaboration with many authoritative artists and composers.

Matthias Horn teaches voice in Heidelberg and is involved in the education programs of Laterna Musica.
