Kai Chun Chuang studied dance with Rose Breuss and Claudia Jeschke. As a dancer and choreographer he worked for theaters, festivals and free projects such as Theater an der Rott, Landestheater Linz and as a guest dancer at Festspielhaus St. Pölten for works by Ohad Naharin and Shahar Binyamini.

He is an assistant and rehearsal director for choreographer Shahar Binyamini who works with Opéra national du Rhin, the Korean art project Bora, Frontier Danceland and the Staatsballett Hannover. Chuang was selected as a finalist in the competition of Solo-Tanz-Theater-Festival in Stuttgart in 2018.
